The Deception of a Nation

During the Bush Era we have had our fill of misguiding and misrepresentations with WMD’s, Al Qaeda’s existence in Iraq prior to our invasion there of, Halliburton’s ability to fulfill our requirements for services in Iraq, “Good Job Brownie’s” ability to coordinate American services in the wake of Katrina, Rummy Dummy’s ability to manage our armed forces in Iraq, Gonzales’s ability to lead our Judiciary system, and Dick Cheney’s ability to aim a gun. All of this and still we haven’t gotten our fill of being misguided, Lied to, and abused by those we have put in power. If you think the above aren’t all that bad, I don’t know what it takes to piss you off but let’s discuss the latest and see if it moves you a little?

Our great decider, you know the one, has decided that we would have a “Surge” in Iraq to stop the violence. He has sentenced our young people to 15 months of duty now instead of the previous 12 and all of this is alleged to stop the Violence in Iraq.

Here’s the kicker….. Get ready, it’s a douse!!!!!! …..

In order that his “surge” will prove to be beneficial to the people of Iraq, and can be used to create an illusion to the Americans paying for it, the deaths that are caused by IUD’s and Car bombs will no longer be included in the death toll statistics given to the public!

Wow, what a brilliant Idea!!!!! How utterly fabulous!!!! I’ll bet he didn’t sleep for a week to come up with that brain FART! Oh come on, you don’t think he came up with that all by himself do you? Well I don’t…. I would guess it’s some more of his appointments, which ultimately become our disappointments, that assisted with that little ‘lead the American people around like lemmings’ because ‘they are so stupid they won’t know what hit them’ revelation.

I got one more that I will forewarn you about…. And you can mark my words; our economic indicators are being played with in the same way. Those unemployment numbers we keep hearing touted about are bogus!!!! BOGUS!!!!! As the working class has been laid off and collected unemployment they have depleted that benefit and then started taking money out of the values of their real estate to live on. Now they still have no job but they are out of equity or their equity lines of credit that have become so expensive they can’t pay the mortgage. Forecloses are at an all time high currently 2.28 million homes, 22% rise of people over age 55 are filing bankruptcy. Yet, because these people have fallen off the unemployment roles our unemployment indicators are a bright spot in this economy…. Take that a step farther and you will see that the spending levels in the USA have stared to slow. Is it any wonder….. Americans are taped out! But by damn Bush has this fabulous economy!!!! Aren’t you just a little pissed of yet?????

I think that everyone has gotten very tired of hearing any news about Bush by now. No one really cares anymore. But I wonder, if after Obama's one and only term as president, if a few years from now, we will get sick of hearing you crap on him as well. You are a very emotional person aren't you?

First of all, I am not Republican, I am not Democrat, I vote for whoever sounds like they are going to do a better job, regardless of what the issues, at the time might be. Just like 87% of the rest of America, has been voting for about 20 years now, according to all the past government polling has shown. I am black, I voted for Obama. He hasn't performed, or completed any humanitarian or peaceful achievement, meriting a Nobel Peace Prize, I didn't vote for either of the Bushes, and don't agree with the way they did their jobs. What I do disagree with , however is your BS articles. I have looked over your web site, and I've read some of your articles. I agree with your, above article, but it pertains to the later half of Bush Jr.'s term, and has nothing to do with the shape it was in when he took office, as I stated in my above reply. I do however believe that none of those so called predictions are any of your on, what so ever. What I am telling you is that the Bushes are over, done, old news, no longer worth the mention, not important in any way, irrelevant to now, and don't have anything to do with this topic. Obama is screwing the pooch all by himself, and nothing that the Bushes did before has anything to do with his poor performance. In other words we are all tired of hearing anything about the Bushes. They are not controlling anything now on Capital Hill. We are talking about Obama. You seem to have a yearning desire to keep bringing up the Bushes as the cause to all our troubles. The facts are we did this to ourselves, as we are causing all of our worlds problems ourselves. The monkeys, and the frogs aren't doing it, and then we realized that we made a bad choice in wanting Bush to send in the troops, as he made a bad choice by listening to inaccurate intelligence, and signing the checks, and we possibly just made another, even worse mistake with Obama, and so far he has only done two things, jack and squat. Well, let us see. He purchased a dog, swatted a fly on T.V., stimulated Japans economy with the cash for clunkers program, wasted over 30 billion dollars of our money for all the bail outs, that the Bush administration determined two years ago wouldn't work, gone on vacation a few times, ask the world to stop all the fighting and bickering. Yep that is worth a Nobel Peace Prize, BS. Guantanamo closed, or going to be? Heck no. Health care any better? Heck no. Illegal Immigration, and the burdens they putting on our country, any better? Heck no. Our economy any better? Slightly, but that always happen s when a new president comes into office, just like it did with Bush Jr. I thought I would toss a little more Bush in there again to keep your attention span. You seem to have issues with the no longer important Bushes, on your web site. Well, we no longer care about the Bushes. That is plain enough for you isn't it?

Just so you don't think I'm a complete butt wipe. I do like your site, and I do agree with most of what you post, but you do yourself no benefit by continued updated postings on Sodahead, on the topic of whether Obama deserves a Nobel Peace Prize, as the Bushes have absolutely nothing to do with that topic, or anything else to do with Obama's performance in his current term.
