I’m not sure how many of you have heard about the appointee’s to our justice system and where most of them came from?
As you may or may not know, Pat Robertson, yes that’s right, the Devils tool shed keeper, has a college. A legal college. It is rated as a 4th rate school that generates legal scholars… right, scholars that read one book and to hell with everything else ever written about justice.
Now here is the real kicker… George Bush has appointed 150 of these 4th rate scholars to our American Justice System. We are settling for 4th rate justice appointees because they come from a school that has only one book as required reading? What the hell? Are you kidding me? This is preposterous!!! I would hope to hell that when we have a turn over of this administration, all of those 4th rate appointees, appointed by a 5th rate president will be tossed to the curb…. No doubt about it, all 150 of them must be removed! There has been some pretty dirty shit being swept under the carpet by our little Hitler GWB. I for one am damn tired of his antics! He needs to be tossed to the curb along with his shit for brains administration and justice system appointees.
What is with the Republican Party that they have turned Americans against the “Elite” There is a reason they are the Elite. They are the smartest, brightest, and most creative among us and we have ignored and abused them because they have been branded by a bunch of mindless criminals to be “elite” This compared to what? Corrupt, lying, AWOL, Misguided, greedy thugs? Why is it when a Ronald Regan or a Thompson runs for president they aren’t considered an “elite” but when it’s a democrat who speaks some sense and truth they are labeled with this “elitist” bull shit and all of a sudden Americans turn away from them because the republicans have twisted their minds to think that Elite is a bad thing? Well look at where we are now… We have a 5th rate president, appointing a 4th rate justice system that wouldn’t have a clue about saving our liberties and justice or our constitution but we have rid ourselves of our elite…. I know that makes me feel better how about you?
I think it’s high time we get some of that precious “Elite” to lead and guide this country instead of these losers’! There is a reason they are Elite, and it’s not because they could be compared to the likes of George Bush and Dick Cheney!

With everyday passing it appears that our Mr. Gonzales exposes his inept abilities to lead our judiciary system. He must be removed from office ASAP
Gonzales is guilty of more than just these firings. He is the one that has put Americans back in the business of torture and abuse of our prisoners. He's a criminal just like his boss!

Last Thursday, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales testified before the House Judiciary Committee. His performance was, if you can believe it, even worse than it was before the Senate Committee. “I don’t know” was again the prevailing theme, with the AG displaying an astonishing lack of knowledge (or feigned lack of knowledge) about the workings of the department he heads. This time, however, he brought a new twist – a visible smugness, evidenced by a self-satisfied “you can’t touch me” grin and instances where he actually laughed at members of the committee questioning him.
Well, guess what, Mr. Attorney General: you are NOT untouchable.
Mr. Gonzales’s refusal to step down and President Bush’s refusal to fire him are giving the Democratic Congress the opportunity to conduct the critical oversight they were elected to perform. The ongoing hearings are ratcheting up the pressure, and day by day, more details are revealed in a trail that appears to lead straight to the West Wing (we’ll get to that in the next section).
Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee testimony by former Deputy Attorney General James Comey brought startling revelations about Alberto Gonzales’ loyalties and his character. In 2004, when Comey was acting attorney general and refused to approve the Bush administration’s warrantless NSA spying program, Alberto Gonzales (then White House Counsel) and White House Chief of Staff Andy Card tried to strong-arm a hospitalized John Ashcroft who was in intensive care, then circumvented the DOJ and carried out their illegal program anyway until Ashcroft, Comey and FBI Director Robert Mueller threatened to resign. (Note – the NSA spying program was still reauthorized, but it was reportedly adapted to address certain legal concerns of the DOJ officials.)
While the legislative oversight has been fruitful – increased awareness of corruption, some corrective legislation and the beginnings of some much-needed house-cleaning at DOJ – the goal is still a NEW Attorney General, who is faithful to the law and will advocate for the American people. Monica Goodling, the former Gonzales aide (and the most famous Regent University Law grad) who invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination to avoid testifying about the U.S. attorney firings, has been granted immunity and will be testifying before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.
By that time, we want to present Congress with our Gonzales Must Go petition. We currently have just over 40,000 signatures but need to bump that number up to 50,000 before we present them. Can you help?
